The abandonment of pets such as cats and dogs has increased dramatically during the confinement provoked by COVID-19. Pet shelters, animal associations and the environment public prosecutor have confirmed that the situation is worrying. During the almost three months that the restrictions imposed by the government due to COVID-19 have lasted, the rate of abandonment of small animals has boosted. Not only that, but once the confinement has been overcome, the increase does not stop.

Spain, unfortunately, is at the head of Europe with 150,000 animals left alone. Wooolfy team cannot express how much pain this does make us feel. Luckily, there are people with huge hearts who care for all these helpless beings, as Asoka, a pet shelter with which we collaborate.

From WOOOLFY we want to give voice to all the associations that are fighting for a better future for these animals. Is part of the fundations of this company to help to build a better world to our furry friends. If you want to get to know about the current state of this situation, the social networks of these associations are being constantly filled with photographs of abandoned kittens and puppies. The only goal is just to find a family that welcomes them and gives them the love they deserve. If you are reading this and want to take action, please visit their webpage and collaborate. Any action can help and you never know if thanks to you a helpless being will find a home.
